1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Untitled(“Untitled”, “we”, “us” or “our”). They apply to Untitled Email, our website, apps and related email, domain, AI and support features (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a company or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it. If you cannot enter into a binding contract, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent, guardian or other person legally able to agree for you.
2. Accounts and access
Please provide accurate information, keep it up to date and protect your sign-in details. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care. Tell us promptly at operations@untitledemail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You may not transfer an account or let another person use it to avoid limits, restrictions or enforcement. An organisation is responsible for managing its users, permissions, domains and recovery methods.
3. Free, Pro, trials and billing
Free
Free lets you create and use an eligible @untitledemail.com address with the features and limits shown in the Service. You can move to Pro when you need custom-domain features or more capacity.
Pro
Pro costs $4.99 USD per month, plus any applicable taxes. It currently includes 15 GB of storage, up to 10 addresses and aliases in total, and custom-domain support, subject to these terms and any clearly disclosed technical limits.
Fourteen-day trial
Eligible new Pro customers can receive one 14-day trial. Stripe may ask for a valid payment method when the trial starts. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, Pro becomes a monthly paid subscription and the payment method on file is charged. Trial eligibility and the exact trial end date are shown during checkout.
Payments, renewals and cancellation
Stripe processes card payments for us. Pro renews monthly until cancelled. You can securely update your payment method, review invoices and cancel through the billing portal in your account. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep Pro access until then. Except where the law requires otherwise, amounts already paid are not refundable.
We may change future prices or plan features. We will give reasonable advance notice of a price increase that affects an existing paid subscription, and the new price will apply no earlier than the next renewal after that notice.
4. Domains, aliases and connected inboxes
You must own or be authorised to control every domain, address and inbox that you add. You are responsible for domain registration, renewal, DNS settings, the accuracy of sender information, and complying with the rules of your registrar and connected email provider. Unless we say otherwise in writing, Untitled is not your domain registrar.
Domain verification proves control at a point in time; it does not establish trade mark rights or settle a dispute about ownership. We may pause sending or remove a domain or address where verification fails, authorisation ends, or continued use creates a security, deliverability or legal risk.
5. Your content and data
You keep ownership of your messages, attachments, contacts, domain data and other content. You give us the limited rights needed to receive, store, copy, transmit, scan and otherwise process that content to operate, secure and support the Service, comply with law and carry out your instructions. This permission ends when the content is deleted from our systems, subject to reasonable backup cycles and legal retention duties.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to send us personal data and to communicate with recipients. Please keep your own copies of material you cannot afford to lose and avoid putting unnecessary sensitive information into messages or AI prompts.
6. Untitled AI
AI features can help draft, summarise, search or organise content. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Review outputs before relying on them or sending them, particularly for legal, financial, medical, employment or other important decisions. You remain responsible for how you use and share AI output and for ensuring that your prompts and source material are lawful.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- send spam, phishing, deceptive messages or communications that break marketing or privacy laws;
- distribute malware, interfere with systems, evade security controls or probe for vulnerabilities without permission;
- harass, threaten, exploit or impersonate another person or organisation;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality or other legal rights;
- host or transmit unlawful content, or support fraud or other illegal activity;
- scrape, resell or automate access in a way that harms the Service or other users; or
- misrepresent message origins, manipulate authentication records or damage email deliverability.
We may apply reasonable sending, storage, rate or anti-abuse limits to protect users and the Service. Contact us if legitimate use is unexpectedly affected.
8. Changes and availability
We work to keep Untitled Email useful and available, but no online service is uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, provider outages, security events and circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect access or delivery. We may improve, replace or stop features, and will give reasonable notice when a material change is likely to significantly reduce a paid feature, unless urgent security or legal action is needed.
9. Suspension, cancellation and termination
You may stop using Free at any time and may cancel Pro through the billing portal. You can ask us to close your account, subject to any steps needed to confirm your identity and protect data.
We may restrict, suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe these terms have been materially breached, payment is overdue, the account creates a security or legal risk, or we must do so by law. Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to fix the issue. We may act immediately for serious abuse, fraud, security incidents or legal requirements. Terms that by their nature should continue after termination will continue.
10. Our intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, software, design, brands and related intellectual property. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active; they do not transfer ownership. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment, but we will not identify you publicly without permission.
11. Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Nothing affects mandatory consumer rights.
To the extent permitted by law, Untitled is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business, or loss caused by your domain provider, connected inbox provider, internet service, unlawful use or failure to keep appropriate backups. Our total liability arising from the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £100 and the fees you paid us for the Service in that period. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service or law changes. We will post the revised terms and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or a paid subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, you should stop using the Service and cancel any subscription before then.
13. English law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live and keep any mandatory protections provided by local law. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern quickly.
